Nevada Donor Network Appoints New Foundation President

Nevada Donor Network (NDN), is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Peralta as its new foundation president to oversee the development and implementation of the organization’s philanthropic strategic plan.

As foundation president, Peralta will work directly with NDN’s Chief Executive Officer Joe Ferreira to lead donor relationship efforts and advance NDN’s mission to provide hope, strength and life to more than two million people in Nevada and thousands of potential transplant recipients across the country.

Peralta brings more than 10 years of leadership expertise including institutional advancement, philanthropy, board recruitment and development, fundraising and donor stewardship with both local and national foundations and corporations with a proven record of performance with his previous companies where he held high-level positions with Roseman University, Healthcare Preparatory Institute and Academy Medical Equipment.

“NDN’s newly developed foundation has been a vision of ours for many years,” said Ferreira. “As our foundation president, Peralta will play an integral role in the future of donor relations as we expand our vision, and ultimately, our ability to provide people with a second chance at life.”

As Nevada’s OPO, NDN coordinates, recovers and allocates lifesaving organs and healing tissues for transplantation and research on behalf of heroic organ donors and is a member of Donate Life Nevada, a statewide collaboration of agencies committed to motivating Nevada residents to register as organ, eye and tissue donors.

“It’s an honor to be a part of the NDN team and the great work they do in Nevada and beyond,” said Peralta. “Through the foundation, the work and mission continue as we advance our efforts including major gifts, annual giving, grants, planned giving, donor services and communications.”
