Researchers
The need for specific organs and tissues are determined by current research studies. Donated organs and tissues for research and education can uncover the pathology of various diseases, lead to effective treatments and even cure them. Nevada Donor Network (NDN) is proud to be part of helping families navigate consenting to donation for research. With specific consent, we proudly recover donated organs and tissues for qualified academic, governmental, pharmaceutical, biotech and private research institutions. All such recipients of donated research organs and tissues must complete an application/agreement for approval. All new applications will be reviewed by NDN's Research Committee, which meets at least quarterly.
Please submit the following as part of your application:
- Principal Investigator’s CV
- Protocol
- Bioethics Policy
- RB (approval, or letter stating no approval required)
